A Seminar for referees and assistants from FPL was opened in Sliven

A pre-season seminar for referees and assistant referees from First Professional League, as for men and women international referees was opened in Sliven. The main lector is Marc Batta who is BFU`s President Borislav Mihaylov advisor on referees matters. The Seminar which will continue until Wednesday, 8 February was opened by the BFU`s vice-president Yordan Lechkov and Deputy General Secretary Anton Popov.

The Seminar program includes lectures, field work, tests (fitness and combined) and work groups on many clips with various situations of matches from different tournaments and championships in the country and abroad.

Meanwhile on 5th of February in Sofia was held an one-day seminar for referee observers in First Professional League. Marc Batta was once again the main lector. The observers watched a chosen match from Champions league, as their goal was to assess the referee of the game and to unify the method of evaluation. The seminar`s main accent is uncompromising, honest and fair assessment of referees by the observers.
