Bulgaria U15 recorded a loss and a draw against Cyprus U15 in two friendlies

Bulgaria Under-15 national team recorded a loss and a draw against Cyprus U15 in two friendlies, which were played on 3rd and 5th May at the National Football Base in Boyana, Sofia.

The first match ended with a 1:4 victory for Cyprus. Bulgaria took the lead in 16th minute with a goal by Asparuh Slavov. Until the end of the first half the Bulgarians could have doubled their advantage, but Atanasov and Kazakov missed the target.

In the second half the guest took the initiative and made a complete comeback. Nikolas Neokleous netted the ball twice in the 41st and 43rd minutes as Christos Venizelos added a third goal in the 46th minute.

Soon after Asparuh Slavov  should have scored, but his shot went wide.

In the 71st minute Konstantinos Georgallides was left one-on-one with the goalie and shaped the final outcome with a fourth goal for Cyprus.

The second game ended with a 1:1 draw. Once again Bulgaria took the lead in the 13th minute when Preslav Paprkov headed the ball after a corner kick. In the 24th minute Ioannis Hadjiyiannis leveled the score.

During the second part there were goalscoring opportunities for both team. Asparuh Slavov and Kristiyan Atanasov missed the target as the goalie Milko Badanov had to intervene on few occasions.
