Bulgaria U19 has overcomed Georgia 2:1 in a friendly game at „Hristo Botev“ stadium in Blagoevgrad. The "Lions" managed to made a complete turn over within ten minutes in the second half after Georgia has took the lead in the first. Both Georgi Rusev and Tonislav Yordanov scored the goals for the Angel Stoykov`s team.
After 9-th minutes of play Georgi Rusev has been close to open the score. Svetoslav Kovachev had overcame his rival and continued well to Georgi Rusev, who failed to score from 7 meters. In 16-th minute, Georgiya Kutsiya took advantage of a poorly cleaned ball in front of the penalty area and overcame Naumov for 0:1. In the 38th minute Angel Lyaskov found with excellent pass Tonislav Yoranov, but his header came over the goal. In the end of the first half Bulgaria had another good oportunity to score, but the ball passed close to the bar after a well taken free kick from Georgi Rousev.
Soon after the break Bulgaria has become more agresive and as the result of that the equalising goal has came. In the 62-th minute, an excellent combination between Yordanov and Rusev ended with a perfect shot from the Elce striker - 1:1. Ten minutes later, the Angel Stoykov`s team has made a complete comeback. Tovislav Yordanov scored from a penalty, awarded for a foul against Rousev. In the 80th minute Russev could have made the victory of Bulgaria even more expressive, but his shot went in centimeters out. The friendly match was part of the preparation of the team for the upcoming EURO 2017 in Georgia from 2-nd to 15-th July.
