Angel Stoykov took part in press conference along with the coaches of Group B

1 July 2017 11:20

Head Coaches of the four teams of the B-group of  the Under 19 European Championship Angel Stoykov (Bulgaria), Keith Downing (England), Marten Stekelenburg (Netherlands) and Frank Kramer (Germany) took part in an official UEFA press conference before the start of the tournament.

"We're delighted to be here, to be part of this tournament. We had participate in the U17 finals in 2015, and it's largely the same team, the same group of players. We have a strong group, both collectively and individually – that's what got us to these finals. The draw puts us against three of the leading forces in football, not just in Europe but worldwide – England, Germany, the Netherlands – but this means that we have to be more motivated, to get organised and to show our best", Angel Stoykov said.

The Head Coaches of our rivals three rivals were gathered around the view that the best players in Europe from that age are here in Georgia. Bulgaria starts its Euro 2017 match against England on Monday, July 3, at 4:30 pm Bulgarian time.
