Bulgaria has qualified for the EURO Beach Soccer League finals

The Bulgarian national team has qualified for the EURO Beach Soccer League finals after finishing in second place in Group 1 of Division B. After the first two convincing victories against Denmark (10:5) and Andora (8:1), the Bulgarians lost against hosts Hungary 3:7 its last game, which was irrelevant because of the development in our and the other groups.  

The “lions” made a good match in Siofok, but had no luck against the classy opponent which is 8th in Europe ranking and Bulgaria is in 24th position.

Filip Filipov scored two goals, Tuzakov added another one, as the Bulgarians hit the bar four times.  

Thus, the “lions” quialified for second time in history for the finals since 2014 and are among the 8 best teams in Division 2.

The decisive matches will be held from 14-17 September in Terracina, Italy.
