There were a few goalscoring opportunities for both teams during the first part. Serkan Yusein could have opened the scoring for Bulgaria, but his header was saved by Ewert. Bohnert missed the biggest chance for Luxembourg when he was left one-on-one with Vasilev, but the goalie saved his shot.

During the second half the pace dropped and there were no goalscoring chances in front of both goals. In the 90th minute, Tinelli tried a shot outside the penalty area and after a ricochet  of a Bulgarian defender the ball hit the bar and entered the net.

Bulgaria`s next game is against Kazakhstan. The match will be played on 6th of October at “Trace Arena” stadium in Stara Zagora.

The next match of the young "lions" is on 6 October against Kazashthans again at the Trace Arena in Stara Zagora. Today's rival has already played three games in the group, with today's success for the team. Previously, Luxembourg lost to Kazakhstan and Slovenia.
