List of foreign-based players called up to the Bulgaria national team for the games against England and the Republic of Ireland
The Bulgarian national team head coach Krasimir Balakov announced a list of 11 foreign-based players called up for the EURO 2020 qualifier against England on September 7thand the friendly game versus the Republic of Ireland on September 10th. The list features Ivelin Popov (Rostov, Russia), Strahil Popov (Kasimpasa, Turkey), Vasil Bozhikov (Slovan Bratislava, Slovakia), Georgi Kostadinov (Arsenal Tula, Russia), Kiril Despodov (Cagliari, Italy), Simeon Slavchev (Qarabag, Azerbaijan), Georgi Milanov (Fehervar, Hungary), Bozhidar Kraev (Gil Vicente, Portugal), Nikolay Dimitrov (Ural, Russia), Georgi Sarmov (Chemnitzer, Germany) and Georgi Pashov (Ararat, Armenia).
