Referees from Slovenia will take charge of the World Cup qualifier in Group "A" between the teams of Belarus and Bulgaria on June 9, from 21:45, at the "Borisov Arena" stadium in Borisov. Chief referee of the match will be the 37-year-old Matej Jug and his assistants will be Matej Zunic and Manuel Vidali. Rade Obrenovic was appointed as fourth official.
Matej Jug, born on 25th of September 1980 is a Slovenian professional international referee. The Slovenian is an international referee of FIFA since 2007. He has refereed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and UEFA Euro 2012 qualifications.
On March 25, 2015, Jug is one of the additional assistants of Chief Referee Damir Skomina during the European qualification between Bulgaria and Italy, which was played at “Vasil Levski” stadium (2:2).
