The BFU General Assembly voted on the report, the strategy and the budget of the federation

The 10th General Assembly of the Bulgarian Football Union voted on the report of the last mandate's results and the strategic framework for the next four years. The delegates also voted the 2018-2022 financial report as well as the budget for the next four-year term of the current BFU governance.
The member clubs voted that the congress take into account the pleas of the clubs that were sanctioned by the Executive Committee and decided 9 of those clubs to be reinstated as full-time BFU members. The pleas of the other 64 clubs were rejected; they will however have the chance to apply for membership should they correct their violations.
445 member clubs of the Bulgarian Football Union attended the assembly at the "Marinela" hotel in Sofia and over 95% of them voted on the 4-year strategy with FIFA and UEFA representatives present.
"I am extremely grateful that we have shown unity and spirit despite all circumstances. The last few months really demonstrated that the Bulgarian football family is strong - and I am certain that this will also be the case from now on", said BFU president Mr. Borislav Mihaylov.
