The Bulgarian Football Union has supported the initiative of the Association "Children with Oncohematologic Diseases" for organizing the first amateur charity football tournament for ladies.
The Arsenal Supporters Club in Bulgaria is the main organizer of the event which will take place at Todor Kableshkov University of Transport training center on May 12, Saturday at 10:00 hrs.
The Bulgarian Football Union will provide referees for the tournaments. The players of Bulgaria`s Women National team will also be part of the event as they will demonstrate their skills to the ladies.
Five teams have been asked to participate: the ASCB women's formation, the team of the Association, two volunteer teams organized by Madlen Vladimirova, and the team of the Bar Infinity ladies.
Before the final match there will be an auction in which all participants will bid for items made by children as the funds will serve as a support for the Association "Children with Oncohematologic Diseases" whose mission is to protect the rights of children with oncohematological diseases, to support them in their fight, to help them and their families overcome the emotional and psychological consequences of the disease and to facilitate their social adaptation after the treatment.
The aim of the tournament is not only to raise money for the camps organized by the Association for children fighting the treacherous disease but also to become a wonderful football experience that will leave warm memories to everyone involved.
