The president of the Bulgarian Football Union Borislav Mihaylov welcomed his English colleague Mr. Greg Clarke at the "Boyana" National Football Center in Sofia. The chairman of the Football Association complimented the modern look and the functionality of the home of the Bulgarian national teams and discussed various ideas and strategies on the present and future of football.
The two main focus points of the discussion between the two were the development of young talents as well as women's football. The FA chairman went into detail on the various factors which made England a great force in both youth and women's football in the past few years, while Mr. Mihaylov shared his philosophy on the subjects at matter and the number of current projects that the BFU is involved with. The two charimen also discussed the possibilities of future collaboration between the national associations and the idea of an expertise exchange between Bulgarian and English youth coaches.
This was Borislav Mihaylov's second high-profile meeting at the "Boyana" Center in just one week. A few days earlier he was paid an official visit by the president of the German Football Association Mr. Reinhard Grindel.
